Personality Organization

Organization is the structural axis: how integrated is someone's identity, how intact is their grip on reality, how primitive or mature are their defenses — independent of which personality style they have. The same style (say, depressive) can show up at a neurotic, borderline, or (rarely) psychotic level of organization.
